Be a part of the FM area’s most Elite Dog Training Center! Learn about dog training, behavior, and basic grooming skills from professionally educated dog behavior specialists.

ALL NEW team members must start as KENNEL ASSISTANT and with proven ability and drive to learn about dog training, reliability, and team player attitude you can move up to dog handler (this process roughly takes about 90 days.)

Hours:

• As you train in as a kennel assistant we are looking for part time (15 - 25 hours per week) flexible hours. *For the right candidate looking for full time work, exceptions may apply. 
• With promotion of dog handler there may be more hours and full time (25 - 40) opportunities. As a dog handler we are looking for someone available to work evenings, some weekends, and some holidays.

What is a Kennel Assistant? 
A kennel assistant is a part time position whose responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring the comfort and cleanliness of all dogs in our care dogs, CLEANING- everything both inside and out. Kennels, dog bowls, floors, dishes, laundry, bathrooms, potty areas, etc. Feeding dogs, watering dogs, assisting dog handlers and trainers, organizing, etc.

$$$: Starting at $9 - $10/hr

Paid training and education in dog handling, behavior, and basic grooming skills.

What is a Dog Handler?
A dog handler is a full time or part time position whose responsibilities include but are not limited to: The same responsibilities of a kennel assistant but with a primary focusing on handling dogs. Ensure the comfort and cleanliness of boarding dogs, greeting and interacting with clients, walking dogs, practicing obedience with dogs, playing, cuddling, and feeding dogs. Shadowing our professionally educated trainers, learning basic to advanced dog handling and training techniques, and basic grooming such as baths and nail trims.

$$$: $10.25 - $13/hr + Commissions 

Evening shift.
